The Gintra Football Academy is taking a new step in its development path - the coaching staff has been joined by a young, ambitious and energetic specialist from Spain, Ruben Pérez Cudero, who will also take on the position of technical director of the academy.
Rubenas is a warm personality and motivated specialist, able to establish a connection with children, ensure a positive atmosphere in training and inspire the younger generation to achieve the highest goals. He has completed higher education in Spain and obtained a football coaching education. Rubenas did not stop there, he completed a master's degree in coaching and continued to deepen his knowledge in specialized coaching programs, while also gaining practice while working in various Spanish clubs and academies.
The new coach and technical director of the Gintra academy worked as the U-14 head coach of the Los Carmenes football academy, a scout and analyst for the U-19 team of CD Mostoles, an assistant head coach of A.C.D. Fatima, an assistant head coach of A.D. Alcoron and an assistant head coach of C.D. San Fernando. Upon arriving in Šiauliai, Rubenas will begin building the academy pyramid and will seek to introduce the Spanish football methodology.
According to the specialist, the main goal is the development of children - both in terms of football and human development. The axis of his philosophy is that the ball must always be in play, and positional football is the basis that allows children to learn to make decisions, develop technique, understand tactics and purposefully develop physical qualities.
"Our goal is to ensure that every child receives a quality education. This means clear guidelines for coaches, continuity and professional methodological support, and a safe environment. Coaches are the foundation - if we give them the right tools, the students will receive the best possible training," believes R. Pérez Cudero.
In order to implement this vision, the academy will implement a consistent education system, the basis of which will be a regular program to strengthen the qualifications of coaches: weekly thematic training meetings, monthly individual methodology discussions, and joint work will be based on a close relationship between coaches and the technical director.
"I arrived in Šiauliai with great enthusiasm. My vision is for Gintra to have a clear and strong football pyramid, in which every child would feel important and could achieve the highest goals step by step. Football must be played with love and joy, and this is the basis for everything," added the new technical director of the academy.
Rubenas will be the head coach of the 2014/15 team and the assistant coach of the 2016 students.
