More news from the Gintra football academy camp – the academy continues to strengthen its coaching staff. The team is joined by an experienced specialist from Egypt – Mohamed Abdel Azeem, who will work with the 2014 B team and train the 2017 and 2018 born players, as well as conduct individual mastery training.
Mohamed is a former professional footballer who played for over fifteen years in Egypt and other African countries. His experience as a player and his long career on the football field are now intertwined with a coaching career spanning over a decade. He worked for twelve years at one of the most famous football academies in Egypt, FC Heliopolis, where he had the opportunity to train children from U-7 to U-18.
The specialist has completed his studies and obtained a football coaching education, and the basis of his methodology is respect for the player, a consistent process of growth and deepening the understanding of the game. Mohamed believes that the most important thing in a coach's work is not only football technique or tactics, but also the human aspect - the ability to develop character, responsibility and team spirit.
"For me, football is more than a game. It is a way to develop not only skills with the ball, but also life values. I want children to grow up brave, disciplined and at the same time experience the joy of being part of a team. In Šiauliai, I see a great opportunity to use my experience to help the children of the Gintra Academy become not only good players, but also strong personalities," says M. Abdel Azeem.
The Egyptian, who arrived at the Gintra Academy, has already joined the training process and will help develop a strategy aimed at creating a clear educational pyramid and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to develop both on and off the football field.
